These terms cover your use of irishkefirco.com and any order placed through it. By ordering, you’re agreeing to them.
Who we are
The Irish Kefir Co. is a trading name of Balance You Foods, registered in Ireland, at 4 Church Ln, Cornaroya, Ballinrobe, Co. Mayo, F31 XY58.
Ordering
Placing an order is an offer to buy. The contract is formed when we email to confirm dispatch. We may decline an order - if we do, we’ll tell you why and refund anything paid.
Prices and payment
Prices are in euro and include VAT where it applies. Delivery is charged separately and shown at checkout. Payment is taken at the point of order through Stripe. We don’t store card details.
We check prices carefully, but if something is listed at an obviously wrong price we’ll contact you before dispatching, rather than fulfil or cancel silently.
Delivery
We deliver to the areas listed on our delivery page. Delivery estimates are estimates. Risk passes to you on delivery.
The product
Our water kefir is a live, unpasteurised, chilled product. It must be refrigerated on arrival and consumed by the date on the bottle. Appearance, colour, carbonation and sediment vary between batches - that’s a property of a live ferment, not a defect.
Cancellation and returns
Chilled perishable food is exempt from the standard 14-day cooling-off right once dispatched. Full detail on our refunds and replacements page. Your statutory rights are unaffected.
Accounts
Keep your password to yourself. Tell us if you think someone else has it.
Our content
The text, photography and design on this site belong to us. Don’t reproduce them commercially without asking.
Liability
We don’t exclude liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that can’t lawfully be excluded. Otherwise our liability for any order is limited to the value of that order.
Changes
We may update these terms. The version that applies to your order is the one live when you placed it.
Law
Governed by Irish law. The Irish courts have jurisdiction.
